 Where Will You Spend Eternity

Where will you spend eternity,

will it be in Heaven or Hell

Death comes on suddenly

at a time you can never tell

Time is running out much faster

than you think

You must be prepared before it’s too late

and into Hell you sink

This earthly life is so short

and eternity is so long

The bible has the answer to eternal life

and salvation’s song

God, your creator, loves you

and sent Jesus, his only begotten son,

to come to earth to die on the cross

and the payment for your sins was done

If you want to be saved you must admit you are a sinner

and deserving of Hell

then ask and trust Jesus to save you so in Heaven you can dwell

 

 Revelation 20:14 Death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

  John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

 

Doing God's Work

 

To get to Heaven

How do you do God's work ?

Some think if they are good and help people

That would be a perk

 

But the bible says to do the work of God

Just believe on the name of his son

The only work to get you to Heaven

Has already been done

 

That work was done and finished

By the death and resurrection of God's son

Jesus died and rose again

And the victory over Satan was won

 

The only work we can do to get to Heaven

Is just trust and believe on Jesus' name

Receive Jesus as your savior

And the free gift of salvation claim

 　

John 6:28-29 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Religious But Lost

There is only one road to Heaven
and the road is narrow and strait
The sad fact is that many people who are religious
will not enter Heaven's gate

To get on the narrow road
you must trust Jesus as savior and be born again
by accepting His shed blood atonement
for all your sin

The bible says not everyone who says
"Lord, Lord" shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven
but only those who trust in Jesus' blood,
the only plan of salvation given

Many will seek to enter Heaven,
claiming all the good deeds they have done
but shall not be able to enter in
because they trusted in themselves instead of God's son

Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? and then will I profess unto them, I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

Free Gift Of Salvation

God has made a way of salvation
For all the people of his creation
He sent his only son Jesus to die upon the cross
So we wouldn't have to go to hell and suffer such a loss

We must accept his gift of salvation so freely given
Jesus died upon the cross for our sin so we could be forgiven
God loves us so much and wants us in heaven above
He loves us poor sinners with an everlasting love

If you reject God's gift of love, you'll end up in Hell, which is no joke
The bible says it is a place of fire, brimstone and smoke
Jesus says come unto me and trust in me alone
I'm the way, the truth, the life, for your sins my blood did atone

Jesus loves you so much he suffered and bled for you tis true
If you were the only person alive he would have went to the cross for you
It was not for good people, but for sinners that Jesus died
So they could trust him as their sin bearer and forever with him abide

To make this gift your own, you must accept it for yourself
The gift is offered to you as well as to myself
If you trust Jesus as your savior, you'll miss hell and go to heaven
Jesus awaits for you to accept the gift, so forever with him in eternity you'll be livin


Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

Seek and to Save

 

Jesus came into the world

to seek and save the lost

He died on the cross for sinners

and paid the ultimate cost

 

He went to the Garden of Gethsemane

and for the sins of the world did weep

He left the ninety-nine in the wilderness

to go after the one lost sheep

 

He does not want anyone to be lost

and gave his life and all

Won't you listen to him speak

and take heed to the Savior's call

 

He is now seeking you and knocking

at your heart's door

He gave his own life's blood for you

and with love did it outpour

 

If you want to know Jesus

as your personal Savior

Just ask him to forgive you of sin

and trust him and open the door

 

Once you trust him as your savior

He will never leave you

He'll give you eternal life

and life more abundant too

 

 Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
