Resting in Jesus is knowing
your soul He will always keep
It's just like stretching out
and lying down on a bed to sleep
You could have no peace
thinking the bed might collapse in the night
It would be so hard to rest
if your mind was filled with fright
You can take comfort in His promises
and have reassuring peace
His Word is perfect and cannot lie
so your worries can all cease
Just lie down on your bed
and rest in Jesus' love and security
His everlasting arms will hold you up
now and for all eternity
Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
