I long to be in the quiet place alone with my Lord
resting under the shadow of His wings
a place of comfort and shelter from the stormy blast
meditating on His word and the wisdom it brings
I love the quiet place
where the world is shut out
and I feel the Lord's tender mercies
compassing me about
Jesus meets with me there
in the quiet place
where I behold new wonders
of his love and grace
The quiet place is my hiding place
away from the world's noise and devil's snare
a place where I can cast upon the Lord
all my burdens and care
Psalm 32:7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance.
