God Is Merciful

Our God is so gracious, merciful and lovingly kind

In his Word he gives us sweet peace of mind

He remembers our frame and that we are dust

Though he is so perfect and holy and just

He removes our transgressions as far as the east is from the west

and with Christ's righteousness we then are dressed

When he looks at our heart he does not see sins we have done

But instead sees the blood of his only begotten son

Where would we be without God's merciful grace

Our lives would certainly be in a hopeless case

God says he will remember our sins no more

He forgets them all and for us has rich blessings in store

God's love and mercy will endure forever and ever

and from his great love nothing can sever

Psalm 118:29 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth forever

Jesus The Savior

Jesus was born one day many many years ago

And though it was so long ago his light is still aglow

He grew up as a boy and then he was a man

And did many miracles that only the Son of God can

He carried his cross to Calvary to suffer and die and bleed

So that everyone who believes on him would be with him indeed

He went back to his place in heaven from which he came

And loves every person ever born, man, woman, and child the same

If you want to go to the place he has prepared for all who believe

Just ask him to be your savior and his wonderful gift receive

He will come into you heart and forgive you of all your sin

All that he asks is a place in your heart for him to enter in

If you ask him into your heart, he'll never lead you astray

He'll be in your heart forever and be there forever to stay

You will be God's child forever and always have a friend

He will love you no matter what and be with you to the end

You'll have a reservation in heaven that can be never taken away

His salvation is a free gift, you can never earn it in any way

Though the world is full of trouble on every side and war

When he calls us home to heaven, we'll be safe forevermore

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Forgiven By Jesus

The reason I love Jesus

is because he has forgiven me so much

My sins, which were many,

he washed away with his miraculous touch

He told me to "go in peace,"

and by faith I was made whole

When I trusted him with my heart,

he saved my soul

Because of his forgiveness,

I can talk to him and love him so,

have fellowship with his sufferings

and his wisdom know

It's all because Jesus forgave my sins,

not in part, but all

and throughout my pilgrim journey

I am listening for his call

Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.

Luke 7:50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee, go in peace.

Forgiveness

Love beareth all things and endureth all things

Even the burden and sorrow sin brings

Love will cover a multitude of sins

and forgiveness is where the healing begins

In a family with sinners it will be discovered

there are many sins that need to be covered

When we forgive one another, God will hear our plea

to forgive us of our sins and bless our family

I Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

What Will You Do With Jesus

"What will you do with Jesus?"

is the question all must answer

Will you reject his gift of salvation

or accept him as your savior

Will you come to him in faith

for payment of your sins dues

or will you just go on your way

and not think about eternal issues

"What will you do with Jesus"

Will your answer be yes or no?"

To any sinner who comes to him

His answer is always "I love you so."

His love for you is so great

that he would never turn you away

He will save your soul and

"I forgive you" he will say

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

The Greatest Coverup

Do you feel like you've made such a mess of life

that it is way beyond repair

Christ's blood will cover all of it,

so there is no need for despair

If you don't like what you've painted on your canvas of life

don't try to fix it, just cover it with the blood instead

His blood will cover up all the mess and you can begin anew

with a clean canvas by the blood he shed

His blood is quite sufficient

to cover every spot and stain of sin

It will cover up the canvas you thought was wasted

and you can have a new picture to begin

Christ's shed blood is the greatest coverup

this world has ever known

when He poured it out with great love on Calvary

for our sins to atone

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Where Are My Sins

Where are my sins ...

To the cross they are nailed

My precious savior's mercy

has never failed

Where are my sins ...

Like a thick cloud blotted out

No more ever to be

forgotten forever without a doubt

Where are my sins ...

Cleansed white as snow

with Jesus purifying blood

when to His fountain I go

Where are my sins ...

Just vanished and erased

God remembers them no more

since on Jesus they were placed

Where are my sins ...

Buried in the deepest sea

all because of my savior

who died on the cross for me

Where are my sins ...

They are eternally gone

and that's the reason why

my heart sings merrily along

Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
