At Christ's Judgment Seat

At Christ's Judgment 

We will be rewarded for our works

at Christ's judgment seat

not for our good intentions,

personality, or being so sweet 

It is our works that will be judged

when we face the Lord that day

They will either receive a reward

or be burned up as dry stubble and hay

A work is something that takes action

not just thinking about someday doing

It's having a plan to serve the Lord

and with all your might pursuing

We will not be judged for our sins

as they were all nailed to the cross

but if we squander our life away foolishly

in rewards we will suffer great loss

Matthew 16:27: For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works

Revelation 22:12: And behold, I come quickly and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 

Note: This is written in reference to Christians who have already accepted the gift of salvation, which is totally by faith, without any works whatsoever. Ephesians 2:8-9: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
