Someday God in Heaven will wipe away all my tears
My Father knows how many I have shed over the years
He keeps them all in a bottle and knows about each one
He says "Hold on my Child, your work is not yet done."
When my body is weak and I can barely hold up my head
He comes to me with comfort and gives me hope instead
My hope is in God's Word that tells of his great love
That will blot out all my sins and help me look above
I am looking forward to seeing my Jesus face to face
And tell him "Thank you for saving me by your grace."
I will see others in heaven too that have gone on before
And there in that great land I will praise him more and more
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
