God Protect The Grandkids
May God set a barrier of protection
around all the grandkids
for the world is full of sin
and Satan is making his bids
But God is still greater than all these
and can defeat all the foes
Though the devil is full of wickedness
and casts his fierce blows
When at times my heart breaks,
keep each precious child in your hand
Give each one victory over the wicked one
and help them to take a stand
May their lives be a beacon and shining light
for you in this dark and wicked age
and by your grace be victorious in these last days
over all the sinful rage
Help the grandkids stay true and pure
and always to remember your words
May they win the battle over the world,
even though they will seem like odd birds
To remember all the bible stories
and bible verses they did learn,
May they turn to Jesus with all their heart
and His great salvation not spurn
Psalm 103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children.
