Do you ever wonder "what should I believe?"
seeking for the truth and not to preconceive
You check out a website's "statement of faith"
and wonder if this is true to what the Lord saith
The bible has the answers to what is false and true
Just read it for yourself through and through
The Holy Spirit will teach you what God's Word means
By feasting on its treasures you can learn and glean
The bible will instruct and lead in the way that's right
as it takes off the blinders and gives you pure insight
You may not understand it all, but what you do is shere glory
as you focus on the words of truth and the gospel story
God will show you what to believe and the path to take
as the living Word is truly powerful that He spake
Dwelling in His Word, you will know what to believe
The things the Spirit teaches by grace you will receive
Believing God's spoken word, you can never go wrong
It will give you wisdom and make your spiritual life strong
I John 2:27: But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
