Jesus is always with us
whether we feel his presence or not
All the promises in His word are true,
every tittle and every jot
He is with us when our hearts are happy
and our faith is high
But He is also with us when we are downcast
and we wonder why
We can never trust our feelings,
since they change like the weather does
but we can always trust God's word,
It's the same as it ever was
Jesus promised to never leave or forsake us,
even when backsliden and out of duty
but when we surrender to his will and obey
is when we see Him in all his beauty
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
