I may be in a lot of pain now,
but my future sure looks bright
When I leave this body, I'll be in a place
where there is no more pain and no more night
I'd rather be in pain now than to be cast
into the lake of fire for eternity
When this old body of clay takes it's last breath,
I know with my precious savior I'll be
My heart is so happy and so full of joy
just to have this great assurance
though the race now seems long
and it is hard to keep up the endurance
Just to think of my wonderful future
makes me feel joyous within
and it's all because Jesus, my savior,
went to the cross and paid for my sin
II Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
