My Grandson Loves The Bible
Tyler comes to Grandma's house
He is a real sweet boy
We always have so much more fun
when he doesn't bring a toy
He likes to make up pretend games
and have fun and play
And give his grandma the directions
of what she is to say
Then he'll think its funny
and laugh and have a blast
He says "lets do that again"
and Grandma says "this is the last"
Before he goes to sleep
he likes to read a book
And when he is reading it
to take another look
To see if it's a fiction story
or if it's really true
That way he will know the truth
and stick to it like glue
If it's not a true story,
he'll laugh and say "that's funny"
It could even be a story
about the Easter Bunny
But if it is the one true book,
he will listen with all his heart
Because he wants to hear God speak
and obey him from the start
II Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou has known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
